Admittance and Fees
Admittance
The Care Home Manager or the deputy will visit the potential service
user before their admission to the Home. We know that the settling-in
period can be a little stressful so this practice ensures that residents
recognise one or two familiar faces, thus making it a little easier for
residents to relax in a new environment.
A visit for morning coffee or afternoon tea allows us to assess and discuss
special needs so that the move can be as smooth as possible. The Care
Manager will assess new residents to ensure that we are able to meet their
requirements. An individual care plan is discussed and agreed on and regular
reviews take place to ensure that their care needs are always met.
Fees
Our
fees are inclusive of all care, accommodation, meals, laundry and all
entertainment including the special outings mentioned.
Whether you choose the spectacular views, sea air and beautiful garden
at Barton Lodge or the beautiful setting and gardens at Woodley Grange
- excellent loving-care comes as standard, and with a variety of communal
areas to choose, our Homes are an extremely attractive choice.
As a guide, the fees at Woodley Grange range from £400 to £500
a week and £400 to £750 at Barton Lodge depending on the size
and location of the room and the dependency of the resident.
The fees are not inclusive of additional extras such as hairdressing,
chiropody and therapeutic services.
Social Services can help some people with the cost of care and if the
resident qualifies for financial help, the department will contribute
to their care home fees. If you require further guidance on this subject,
you can contact Social Services for up-to-date and accurate advice.
It is essential that you are happy in the home you choose to live in.
A visit to our homes will give you the opportunity
to meet with and talk to staff and residents and to see for yourself whether
it is the type of environment that is suited to your needs.
