Beautifully decorated throughout, the home offers comfortable living areas for socialising, dining and activities, alongside quieter spaces to relax and unwind. Residents can also enjoy being pampered in the on-site hair salon.

We are extremely proud of the grounds at Woodley Grange. The outdoor spaces include a large secure terrace and landscaped gardens, giving residents plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

ACTIVITIES

Social and recreational activities are an important feature of our residents’ care and stay with us. We thoroughly encourage residents to pursue any existing hobbies and explore new ones.

Our dedicated activities team create a varied and engaging programme tailored to residents’ individual interests and pastimes. From visiting entertainers and exercise classes to crafts, games and social groups, including our monthly Love Life Café, there is always something to enjoy.

Woodley Grange Management Team

Loraine Stacey

Manager

Loraine joined Woodley Grange in May 2015 as our Head of Care. She achieved her QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care in 2018 and has since pursued further qualifications, including obtaining her Level 5. Additionally, Loraine has undergone training in the 6 steps of End of Life Care and Champion Other Carers.

Loraine always goes above and beyond to take great care of our residents and their families. Her passion and dedication led to her well-deserved promotion to Manager in December 2023.

Loraine has 2 children, 2 grandchildren and a beautiful dog called Ollie, and adores them all. She enjoys football, walking Ollie and eating out.

Rebecca Newton-Fields

Head of Care

Rebecca, known to us as Becky, is highly experienced with 16 years in the care industry. Since joining Woodley Grange in 2017 as a carer, she has progressed to Senior Care Team Manager and is now Head of Care.

Becky has passed her L5 Diploma in Health and Social Care. She has also taken on the role of End of Life champion for the home.

Becky loves animals and is kept very busy in her spare time with her 3 lovely children, her dog called Dave, cat called Tilly, as well as 2 rabbits and 2 hamsters.

Anne Miller

Accounts

Anne joined the Homes as our book-keeper in 2007, making a change from working for engineering and construction companies.

Anne enjoys the Home and the company of the residents and often stays on into the evenings for a chat. She relishes learning snippets of unofficial first-hand history.

County walks has always been her pastime and she regularly takes one of the scenic routes commuting to and from Woodley Grange
